La-Z-Boy officially opens new Ann Arbor-area showroom

La-Z-Boy Home Furnishings & Décor opened its place at 3020 Lohr Road on Thursday, Feb. 9. Originally the furnishings retail outlet was set to open in December 2022, but products delays pushed its functions back again.
Buyers can uncover a variety of furniture choices like recliners, chairs, sofas, loveseats, sectionals, beds, dining place tables and household décor.
“We have beautiful house extras and anything you could picture for your residence,” said La-Z-Boy’s Director of Retail Operations Leslie Dempsey. “There’s a lot a lot more products and solutions than I believe most people understand — you are not going to go into that store and just see recliners.”
This new shop marks the company’s seventh locale in southeast Michigan, Dempsey said, incorporating in total there are 370 La-Z-Boy showrooms that are both corporately or independently-owned.
The new locale marks the company’s return to the Ann Arbor space, as the chain earlier had a retailer at 1201 Briarwood Circle.
